Heart, history and horizon: Jane Craigie Marketing rebrands as JCM&Co

Award-winning agrifood communications agency celebrates two decades of dedication to the land-based sector with a business rebrand.

After more than 23 years woven into the fabric of organisations across agriculture, food, land, and the wider rural economy, Jane Craigie Marketing is proud to announce its new name and identity: JCM&Co. This name change reflects the company’s journey, an expanded capability and an unwavering commitment to the people and landscapes it works with.

Founded in 2003 by Jane Craigie with a singular belief - that great stories, and the people behind them, deserve to be told - the agency has grown far beyond its original scope, from a specialist consultancy into a full-service communications business working with some of the best known brands in the sector.

“While our name and visual identity are refreshed, the core values that started our business all remain unbreakable: integrity, kindness, connection to the land and an enduring passion for the future of rural economies and people,” says Jane Craigie, Founder and Managing Director.

"When I first founded the company, my ambition was simply to help people tell their stories well. It was about celebrating the resilience, ingenuity and sheer hard work that exists across our land, building a business based on enduring client relationships and a commitment not to overcharge for what we do – fairness matters deeply to us.  Twenty-three years later, this original purpose hasn't changed. JCM&Co simply reflects who we are today: a passionate collective of strategists, storytellers and creative communicators whose roots run deep in the rural sectors."

Rebecca Dawes, Business Partner adds:
"The true strength of JCM&Co always lies at the intersection of passion and our wide-ranging communication skills. We have extensive ‘lived’ experience farming in many countries and climates, as well as deep, longstanding relationships across food, land, and environment. I am immensely proud to continue building this collective with Jane and our incredible team. Our combined dedication ensures that JCM&Co will not only tell stories but help build durable, trusted relationships that define the sector for decades to come."

Longstanding partnerships are a mainstay of the JCM&Co business, and its track record speaks volumes for what has been achieved. “We have been working with some of our clients for over 20 years and with many for over a decade. Without exception, we feel like an extension to our clients’ teams, which is such a privilege,” says Rebecca.

JCM&Co’s client base mirrors the diversity of the sectors it represents from local family farms and vital charities to multinational industry leaders and government bodies across Europe, Africa, North and South America, and Australasia.

The launch of JCM&Co is accompanied by a new website showcasing the agency's expanded services, portfolio and team while celebrating the values that have underpinned the business since 2003.

"Forty Two Studio, a brand and digital agency, undertook our rebrand for us, and what a joy they have been to work with," adds Jane. "Like us, they nurture long lasting relationships, and their philosophy very much reflects our own - make new friends, work with nice people, stay curious, and try new things."

JCM&Co delivers strategic communications, public relations, editorial, digital content, podcasts, videography, events, facilitation, training and crisis communications for businesses, charities, membership organisations, research institutes and global brands.
