Carrots are the only vegetable to be grown and harvested all year round in the UK – low in food miles, nutritious and versatile but competing hard with exotic imports. The British Carrot Growers’ Association (BCGA) wants to put British carrots back in every shopping basket to support British farmers.

This ambitious sustainability programme developed by ABP Food Group needed to stand out from other programmes in the crowded ag-sustainability space to attract long-term buy-in from progressive farmers and retailers.

The Turriff Show is the largest two-day agricultural show in Scotland attracting over 24,000 visitors each year. Organised by the Turriff District Agricultural Association (TDAA) it relies on sponsorship, ticket sales and the dedication of volunteers to make the show happen each year.
